We are currently seeking a SEND Tribunal Officer for an initial 6-month contract. This role can be offered on a hybrid or remote basis, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. The SEND Tribunal Officer will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the processes related to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) tribunals. What you will be doing: Manage all aspects of tribunal cases involving Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) from initiation to conclusion. Prepare detailed case files, ensuring all necessary documentation and evidence are accurately compiled and organised. Liaise with families, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to gather information and coordinate responses. Represent the organisation at tribunal hearings, presenting cases effectively and professionally. Monitor developments in SEND legislation and tribunal procedures to ensure compliance and best practice. Provide expert advice and guidance on SEND tribunal matters to other team members and stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in managing SEND tribunal cases or a similar role within educational or legal settings. Strong understanding of the legal framework and procedures related to SEND tribunals. Excellent organisational and case management skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases efficiently in a remote setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
