RaceOn is supporting several leading North American motorsport organisations in the search for talented engineers to join championship-level racing programmes across the United States. We are recruiting for multiple opportunities within Performance Engineering, Vehicle Dynamics, Simulation and Aerodynamics, supporting professional motorsport programmes including NASCAR and IMSA. This is an opportunity to work in high-performance racing environments where engineering excellence directly contributes to on-track success.
Your mission
Optimise vehicle performance through data analysis, simulation and engineering insight
Support vehicle setup and performance development during testing and race events
Analyse and correlate simulation, telemetry and track data to improve lap time
Develop and maintain performance, simulation and setup tools
Work closely with drivers, race engineers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Identify opportunities to improve vehicle balance, performance and reliability
Support development programmes through testing, validation and performance analysis
Your profile
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline
Experience in professional motorsport (e.g. NASCAR, IMSA, Formula 1, Formula E, WEC, IndyCar, Formula 2/3).
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, simulation and/or tyre performance
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python or similar analytical tools
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-performance engineering environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
