Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 2–3 years of experience , or 5+ years of related experience without a degree
Experience working with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor
Experience in estimating and managing both self-performed and subcontracted work
Understanding of construction methods for commercial and institutional renovation projects
Proficiency in spreadsheets, email, and construction-related software
Preferred/Certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months):
OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR
CQC Certification (USACE/NAVFAC)
EIT (Engineer in Training) or Associate Constructor (AC)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders/stairs, and perform inspections regularly
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Key Responsibilities
Maintain project tracking tools (RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, costs, and quality)
Review and process shop drawings and submittals
Support change management, including pricing, estimates, and documentation
Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and project proposals
Help develop and maintain project schedules
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Identify potential project issues and help implement solutions
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards
Support project closeout, documentation, and reporting
Participate in team meetings, site visits, and professional development activities
