Cost Control Specialist

Job Description

• Monitor and control food & beverage cost across outlets to ensure costs remain within established targets
• Conduct daily/monthly stock monitoring and stock opname, including analysis of stock differences and variances
• Monitor the flow of raw materials from purchasing, receiving, storage, to usage at outlets
• Analyze COGS, food cost, beverage cost, waste, spoilage, and inventory variance
• Review and verify purchasing, receiving, transfer, usage, and inventory records to ensure accuracy
• Identify potential cost leakage, excessive usage, waste, and operational inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement
• Prepare cost control reports and analysis for management and related departments
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Outlet Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance to maintain effective cost control
• Conduct regular outlet visits/audits to ensure compliance with cost control procedures and standards
• Support the implementation and improvement of cost control systems, procedures, and SOP

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 in Accounting, Finance, Management, Hospitality, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Cost Control, preferably within F&B, Restaurant, or Hospitality
• Strong understanding of food cost, beverage cost, inventory control, COGS, and stock opname
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with data and reports
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, accurate, disciplined, and able to identify discrepancies or potential cost leakag
• Good communication and coordination skills with multiple departments.
• Willing to conduct regular outlet monitoring as required.
