Job Description
- Design, install, test, commission, and maintain ACMV (Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) electrical systems.
- Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment connection details.
- Coordinate ACMV electrical works with mechanical, architectural, and other M&E services.
- Supervise ACMV electrical installation works at project sites and ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications.
- Carry out inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ACMV electrical systems.
- Monitor site progress and ensure projects are completed within the required schedule.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams on technical matters.
- Check materials and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare method statements, inspection checklists, testing reports, and other project documentation.
- Ensure all works comply with Singapore electrical, safety, and project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to ACMV electrical systems.
- Supervise workers and subcontractors and ensure proper workmanship and safety practices.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support when required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in ACMV/M&E projects is preferred.
- Experience in ACMV electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, pumps, fans, AHUs, FCUs, and related ACMV equipment.
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings, ACMV drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Singapore safety requirements and M&E practices.
- Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage site activities.
- Willing to work at construction/project sites when required.
- Singapore driving licence is an advantage.
