Locum Doctor (House Call Services)

Your tasks

We are seeking suitably qualified and patient-centric Locum Doctors to provide medical consultations and treatment to patients in their homes. The doctor will conduct home-based assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribe medications where appropriate, and coordinate care with caregivers and other healthcare professionals.

• Conduct medical consultations and assessments in patients' homes.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment plans where clinically appropriate.
• Assess seniors and homebound patients for functional, cognitive, and medical needs.
• Review hospital discharge cases and provide follow-up care.
• Provide medical reports, referrals, and certification where applicable.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals, nurses, therapists, and caregivers to support holistic patient care.
• Adhere to all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Basic Medical Degree recognized in Singapore.
• Fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Possess a valid Practising Certificate (PC) issued by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Valid Medical Registration Number (MCR).
• Minimum 2 years of post-housemanship clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in General Practice, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Community Care, Internal Medicine, Palliative Care, or Home Care is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and travel for house-call assignments across Singapore.
• Assign to a clinic fulfilling HCSA licence for Outpatient Medical Service
• Professional indemnity coverage required.
