Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer (Test Analyst), you will lead the testing of software and applications to ensure they function according to specifications and client requirements. You'll conduct testing using established organizational practices and methodologies to meet project test objectives and deliver quality outcomes that support business needs.

What will you do?

Project Delivery & Test Execution

• Understand and analyze testing requirements to prepare comprehensive test plans and test designs
• Prepare and ensure readiness of test beds and test environments to carry out test execution
• Execute tests in accordance with test designs and established methodologies
• Analyze test results and collaborate with respective teams to resolve issues such as defect open and resolution rates, performance bottlenecks, and other defects
• Prepare test reports for submission and provide regular test results updates
• Recommend and use automated testing tools where appropriate
• Manage test activities and ensure planned test activities are completed as scheduled

Advisory & Consultation

• Advise project teams on design considerations to facilitate meeting of requirements
• Advise business analysts and clients on testing requirements and test techniques

Team & Organizational Development

• Adopt test standards and testing methodology
• Create awareness and conduct training on test techniques
• Assist in implementation of test standards, consistent methodology, best practices and principles
• Share knowledge within and across NCS teams
• Engage in self-directed learning and development

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Experienced in Selenium
• Initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high-quality standards
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and high energy
• Client-focused mindset
• Able to travel as required
