Quality Control Senior Engineer

Your tasks

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in accordance with the approved Quality Management System and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, approved drawings, and contractual requirements.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and other quality-related documentation.
• Conduct and coordinate site inspections for electrical, mechanical, and civil works, including equipment installation and commissioning activities.
• Identify, document, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), deviations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, quality documentation, and material traceability records.
• Participate in internal, external, client, and consultant audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Monitor quality performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to minimize defects, rework, and project delays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control within substations & EPC projects.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Experience in site inspections, quality documentation, and compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Good command of English and strong analytical and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of applicable international standards, project specifications, and quality management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality auditing practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
