The Digital Asset Manager oversees the organization, governance, accessibility, and continuous optimization of the company’s digital asset portfolio, including photography, video, graphics, documents, presentations, and brand materials. Serving as both the functional administrator and business owner of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, this role ensures employees can efficiently find, access, and confidently use approved assets. The Digital Asset Manager collaborates closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Communications, Creative Services, and other business functions to maximize the value and effectiveness of digital content. Success in this role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including asset organization, metadata standards, taxonomy, and governance
Ensure digital assets are accurate, accessible, up to date, and compliant with brand, legal, and licensing requirements
Develop and implement standards, policies, and workflows that improve asset discoverability, consistency, and lifecycle management
Provide user training, support, and best practices to drive DAM adoption across the organization
Monitor system usage, analyze performance metrics, and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Creative Services to optimize asset management, workflows, and user experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Management, Library Science, Digital Media, Business Administration or related field and 3+ years of managing digital content, digital assets, marketing operations, or DAM platforms experience, or equivalent combination
Hands on experience administering a Digital Asset Management platform such as Orange Logic, Bynder, Canto, Acquia DA, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and content management systems
Understanding of permissions management, digital rights management, and system integrations
Working knowledge of metadata and taxonomy principles as they apply to digital asset organization and discoverability
Experience supporting multiple business units or divisions (desired)
Knowledge of AI-powered content tagging and asset management tools preferred (desired)
