Operations Analyst (Securities Settlements & Stock Loan)

Your tasks

• Managing the timely settlement of securities transactions and ensuring accurate trade processing
• Monitoring and resolving settlement breaks and failed trades within strict market deadlines
• Liaising extensively with brokers, custodians, agent banks, and external counterparties
• Supporting trade matching, reconciliation, and exception management activities
• Investigating operational issues and implementing effective resolutions to minimise risk
• Producing regular operational and management reports
• Working closely with trading desks and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless transaction processing and client service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Min 2 years' experience in Stock Loan, Securities Settlements, Middle Office, Trade Support, or Investment Banking Operations
• Strong understanding of equities products and post-trade processes
• Experience managing trade exceptions, reconciliations, and settlement activities
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and risk-control mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard operational reporting tools
