• Receive confirmed orders and required delivery dates from Sales/Sales Operations.
• Coordinate with Production and Warehouse to confirm goods are ready for dispatch.
• Arrange local trucks, containers, freight forwarders and shipping lines.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations and negotiate transportation rates.
• Plan container loading and maximize truck/container utilization.
• Prepare and check export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading instructions and other destination-specific documents.
• Coordinate customs clearance and required certificates/approvals.
• Track every shipment from factory dispatch until final delivery.
• Send customers/Sales shipment status, ETD, ETA and document updates.
• Monitor demurrage, detention, storage and other avoidable logistics charges.
• Maintain records of freight costs by country, customer, container and product.
• Verify logistics invoices before sending them to Finance for payment.
• Handle damaged, delayed, rejected or missing shipments and coordinate claims.
• Maintain an approved database of transporters, freight forwarders and shipping lines.
• Provide Sales with estimated freight costs quickly for quotations.
• Prepare a weekly shipment plan and monthly logistics performance report.

Strong knowledge of export and local shipping procedures.

• Good understanding of Incoterms 2020: EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP, etc.
• Experience preparing/checking commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, B/L instructions and shipping documents.
• Understanding of customs clearance and Egyptian export procedures.
• Ability to obtain, compare and negotiate freight quotations.
• Knowledge of FCL/LCL container shipments and truck transportation.
• Good understanding of container loading/utilization.
• Strong Excel skills; ERP experience required, preferably Odoo.
• Ability to maintain shipment trackers and logistics-cost reports.
