Production Engineer
Are you technically skilled, analytical, and do you thrive on making production processes smarter, more efficient and future-proof? Then we're looking for you!
As a Production Engineer , you'll be responsible for the technical improvement, development and optimisation of our production processes, machinery and working methods. You'll analyse technical bottlenecks, develop structural solutions and ensure that improvements are actually implemented on the shop floor. In doing so, you'll work closely with Production, Engineering, Work Planning, Technical Services, Quality and external suppliers.
No two days are the same: one moment you'll be investigating how to prevent recurring production downtime, the next you'll be working on developing a new production process or overseeing the implementation of a new machine. Your tasks and responsibilities at a glance
- Analysing and optimising existing production processes, working methods and production flows;
- Initiating and implementing technical improvements aimed at productivity, quality and efficiency;
- Investigating recurring faults, production downtime and technical bottlenecks, and developing structural solutions;
- Carrying out technical analyses and root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of production problems;
- Identifying opportunities for mechanisation, automation and robotisation within our production operations;
- Developing and setting up production processes for new or modified products and supervising trial production runs;
- Translating new product designs into practical, efficient and reliable production processes;
- Drawing up technical specifications and requirements programmes for new machinery, installations and production equipment;
