ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant - ITSM
Accountabilities: Gather and analyze client requirements, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and development tasks.
Design, configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, Service Portal, ITOM, Discovery, and CMDB modules.
Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and client discussions to ensure alignment on solution design and project objectives.
Develop scalable customizations using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, workflows, and other ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and MID Server technologies to connect enterprise systems.
Perform ongoing Discovery configuration, CMDB maintenance, and platform optimization to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with project teams in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution delivery.
Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers to promote best practices and high-quality implementations.
Requirements
7+ years of hands-on experience implementing and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, Service Portal, ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, and platform customization.
Proven experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and MID Server.
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience delivering projects within Agile software development environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing consulting skills.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or other platform capabilities is considered an advantage.
