Accountabilities: Manage a portfolio of assigned donors by developing and executing individualized engagement and stewardship strategies.

Build and maintain strong donor relationships through personalized communication, including meetings, calls, written updates, and virtual interactions.

Identify, qualify, and cultivate prospective major and planned gift donors to expand long-term funding opportunities.

Develop and implement Moves Management strategies to guide donors through progressive stages of engagement and giving.

Prepare tailored proposals, funding requests, and impact communications aligned with donor interests and organizational priorities.

Maintain accurate donor records and engagement tracking within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Collaborate with internal teams to align donor engagement with program updates, communications, and impact storytelling.

Represent the organization at regional events, donor meetings, and engagement activities, including occasional travel domestically and internationally.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, marketing, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, major gift development, sales, or relationship management roles.

Strong ability to build trust-based relationships and engage diverse stakeholders through excellent communication skills.

Experience managing portfolios, developing engagement strategies, and achieving fundraising or revenue targets.

Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar donor/data management platforms.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Willingness to travel regionally (25–30%) and occasionally internationally as required.

CFRE certification or progress toward certification is considered an asset.
