Your tasks

Every day, large numbers of parcels leave Hartevelt for the customers of the fashion brands we work for. Sometimes something goes wrong along the way. A box doesn't arrive or a delivery is incomplete, and our client wants to know quickly what happened. Because we hold the contracts with the carriers, we are responsible for that support. As logistics support specialist, you are the link between our clients, our packing department and carriers such as DHL, DPD and UPS. You investigate, liaise with everyone involved and make sure every case is properly closed. You can start right away, or later by agreement.

• You handle the daily emails from clients about short deliveries and missing boxes
• For each case, you work with the carrier (DHL, DPD or UPS) to find out what happened
• You check with the packing department how a shipment was processed and sent
• You keep the client informed about the progress and the outcome
• You work closely with the packing department supervisor
• Where needed, you take on other tasks on the warehouse floor

Requirements

• You speak and write English well; Dutch is a plus
• Ideally you have experience in logistics, customer service or another support role
• You are a natural investigator and don't let go of a case until you know what happened
• You work in a structured way and keep the overview, even when many emails come in at once
• You communicate clearly and kindly with customers and carriers
• You don't mind lending a hand on the warehouse floor
