Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Cyber Security Engineer to join our on-site team in Yerevan, Armenia. This role involves protecting the company's digital assets through implementing and maintaining security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding effectively to security incidents. The Cyber Security Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen application, network, and information security frameworks.

-Implement and maintain security controls for servers, endpoints, and network infrastructure.

-Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and perform log analysis.

-Administer identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise access control systems.

-Configure, manage, and optimize VPN, firewall, and secure remote access solutions.

-Deploy and manage security tools (EDR/Antivirus, SIEM, vulnerability management, monitoring platforms).

-Perform security hardening for Linux, Windows, and network devices based on industry standards (CIS, NIST, ISO27001).

-Administer security configurations for Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) and Git-based repository systems (permissions, branch policies).

-Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure architecture, compliance, and best practices.

-Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.

-Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Rocky) and Windows Server / Windows 10/11 environments.

-Deep understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication protocols, and access control models.

-Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.

-Experience working with and managing enterprise VPN solutions (IPSec, OpenVPN, SSL VPN, etc.).

-Hands-on experience with security platforms such as ManageEngine, SIEM, and EDR/Antivirus tools.

-Proven experience in incident response, log analysis, and security investigations.

-Ability to perform security hardening of servers, endpoints, and network infrastructure.

-Work experience with Atlassian security controls (Jira/Confluence) and Git repository security (permissions and branch protections).
