Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Civil & Structural Design

• Design foundations for solar mounting structures including pile, pad, and ballast systems
• Perform structural analysis for mounting systems, cable tray supports, and inverter platforms
• Prepare civil engineering drawings including site layout, drainage plans, earthwork sections, and foundation details
• Ensure all designs comply with TIS, ASCE, and relevant Thai building codes

1. Engineering Documentation

• Prepare civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Review subcontractor documents including shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Maintain engineering document registers and ensure proper drawing revisions
• Prepare BOQ and material take-offs for procurement and cost estimation

1. Site Engineering Support

• Provide civil engineering support during construction and resolve site technical issues
• Conduct inspections at critical milestones such as pile testing and foundation completion
• Coordinate with electrical engineers on underground cable routing and equipment foundations
• Prepare as-built drawings and survey data after project completion

1. Proposal & Feasibility Support

• Conduct site visits and feasibility assessments including soil condition, drainage, and accessibility
• Prepare preliminary civil scope and BOQ for EPC proposals

Assess site risks including flood risk, bearing capacity, and environmental constraints

• Coordinate with permitting teams regarding environmental and land use approvals

1. Quality & Compliance

• Perform civil quality inspections including soil compaction and concrete quality
• Monitor and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

Participate in project review meetings and provide civil engineering technical input

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 2–5 years of experience in civil design or construction engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD Knowledge of soil mechanics, structural design, and construction standards Strong coordination and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel to project sites Professional Engineering License (COE Thailand) required
