About Full Stock Full Stock is a food and beverage company serving the HORECA sector, with operations spanning production and distribution across multiple sites in Egypt.
About the Role We're hiring our first Cost Controller, a newly created role owning end-to-end cost visibility across our operations, from production costing at the factory to inventory and distribution costs across all company sites. You'll build our costing framework from the ground up, working closely with Production, Warehousing, Purchasing, and Sales to protect margins and give leadership a real-time picture of where cost is created and where it can be controlled.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard unit costs and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Track material, labor, and overhead variances between standard and actual production costs, and prepare a monthly Standard vs. Actual Cost Variance Report
Value work-in-progress (WIP) inventory and support period-end production cost closing
Own inventory valuation (FIFO / weighted average) and stock reconciliation across all sites
Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) by SKU, product line, and customer/route
Monitor and control freight, warehousing, and handling costs
Track shrinkage, wastage, and stock discrepancies, and recommend corrective action
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and margin reports for management
Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits
Act as the primary link between Finance, Production, Warehousing, Purchasing, and Sales on cost matters
Maintain accurate cost and pricing data within the ERP system, using AI tools like Claude to speed up reconciliations and reporting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Must Reside In Giza (preferably Sheikh Zayed or 6th of October)
3-5 years of progressive cost accounting / cost control experience
Comfortable working with AI tools like Claude as part of daily work
Experience in both manufacturing/production costing and distribution or inventory costing; FMCG, food manufacturing, or food distribution background strongly preferred
Experience owning costing across multiple sites is a plus
Prior experience building a costing function from scratch is a strong plus
Strong grounding in cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods
Standard costing and BOM costing, with hands-on variance analysis experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, variance models)
Hands-on experience with ERP systems
