Inspections Technician: The Detail Is Everything. Tampa, FL | Full-Time | On-Site Every solar system we install has to pass. You're the one who makes sure it does. Freedom Power was born when Freedom Solar and Freedom HVAC joined forces to become Texas and Florida's complete whole-house energy company. We don't just put panels on roofs — we see every project through from installation to permission-to-operate. That final stretch, where municipal inspectors, utility approvals, and code compliance converge, is where the Inspections Technician lives. We call it Energy Empowerment, and you're the person who locks it in. If you're detail-oriented, process-driven, and thrive when you own something end to end — this role is built for you. You'll manage the inspections process for residential solar projects from post-install through final sign-off, making sure every system meets code, every record is clean, and nothing falls through the cracks. When inspections are clear, you'll stay hands-on across the broader Field Operations team — electrical support, troubleshooting, battery and EV charger installs, permit runs, and more. No two days look the same. Competitive pay and a clear path to advance your career.
