Educare Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Children’s Support Worker to join a residential service based in St Austell .
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and wants to make a genuine difference in their day-to-day lives.
The Role
As a Children’s Support Worker, you will work as part of a supportive team providing a safe, positive and nurturing environment for the young people within the service.
Your responsibilities will include supporting young people with their daily routines, encouraging independence and life skills, providing emotional and practical support, participating in activities and outings, and helping maintain a safe and positive home environment.
What We're Looking For
YOU MUST LIVE IN ST AUSTELL OR WITHIN A REALISTIC COMMUTING DISTANCE.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience within children’s residential care, support work, SEND, learning disabilities, mental health or challenging behaviours .
You will need to be reliable, patient, confident and genuinely passionate about supporting children and young people.
A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
You must also be comfortable working a full-time rota which can include days, evenings, waking nights, weekends and sleep-ins .
