Finance Associate

Responsibilities:

Post daily transactions, process invoices, manage expense categorization, and maintain the general ledger in Zoho Books. Issue client invoices for PPE, fire safety, and consulting services; follow up on outstanding receivables via phone, email, and formal statements. Verify vendor bills, match purchase orders, and process accounts payable. Support cash flow tracking, petty cash management, and periodic bank reconciliations. Assist with monthly statutory tax remittances (VAT, WHT, PAYE) in line with Nigerian tax regulations. Prepare financial schedules, gather audit documentation, and support internal/external audit processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3 years of practical accounting/finance experience. Hands-on proficiency in Zoho Books (or similar cloud accounting/ERP platform) invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data filtering, schedules). Solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and Nigerian tax compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE). Professional, assertive communication style for client payment follow-ups. Prior exposure to oilfield services, HSE, logistics, or industrial sectors is an advantage. Early-stage ICAN/ACCA/CPA (student or part-qualified) is an advantage, not required.

Remuneration:

Net salary: NGN 400,000 monthly. Direct mentorship from the Finance Manager in a growing, specialised industrial safety business.
