General Manager
Your tasks
Objective / Purpose of the Job To oversee and manage the overall operations and business performance of the Company, ensuring that all departments operate effectively and efficiently in line with the Company's objectives, policies and financial targets.
Key Activities / Accountabilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Monitor and manage operational costs
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professional
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Make sure company’s products meet or exceed customers’ expectation.
- Keep up to date market trends that related to our products and services
- Monitor and review production against sales order and Business Plan to ensure that KPIs are met/ exceeded and the products continues to maximise its revenue potential.
- Review the budget, forecast and actuals for the annual business plans for the Company, ensuring appropriate resources are managed and deployed
- Liaise with all departments to develop and communicate “Best Practice”
- Continue to look for new initiatives and changes to develop performance across the all departments
- Responsible for enforcing health, safety and security
- Develop and maintain relationships with business partners, to promote the best interests of the company
- Develop and maintain strong communication links between the Head Office and subsidiaries
To ensure operational efficiency and to ensure an integrated approach is taken in achieving the business plan.
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
§ Good oral and written communication skills § Experience in automation system or machine vision system development.
§ Semiconductor industry exposure.
§ Experience in SEMI factory Automation, SECS/GEM.
§ Experience in Strip Mapping / Wafer Mapping.
§ Communication capability with all levels § Possess a creative mindset to identify and problem solving skills
§ Planning and organising · § Analytical skills · Language Capability § Proficiency in spoken and written English required
