Senior system Admin Engineer

Maintain and manage essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.

Perform server administration tasks, such as user/group management, security permissions, group policies, and print services. Research event-log warnings and errors and monitor resources to ensure seamless system architecture performance.

Install and configure software and hardware, including but not limited to ESXI Hypervisor, Veeam Backup, and Kaspersky EDR Server .

Manage network servers and technology tools, ensuring data security and efficient performance .

Set up accounts and workstations for employees, ensuring smooth onboarding processes .

Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups, to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness .

Manage NAS storage Q-naps and perform daily checks to maintain data storage integrity .

Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, Sophos Firewall, and regular backups .

Restore backups through Veeam when necessary, ensuring data recovery as needed .

Manage IT inventory and oversee and maintain accurate records of all IT hardware, software, and related assets .

Troubleshoot user problems via phone or ticket system with high efficiency .

Perform other related duties as required by the company .

BSc in computer science or a related field.

Proven working experience as a system admin engineer from 4–7 years.

Knowledge of system security techniques

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Team management abilities
