Associate Project Manager
Job requirements Experience Range: With at least 5 to 8 years of experience managing projects in digital or technology-driven environments Key Responsibilities:
Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, to drive team productivity and continuous improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders to create detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and completeness
Monitor and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and delivery timelines, providing actionable insights to project teams and leadership
Manage estimation processes, resource allocation, and project schedules to optimize delivery efficiency and meet business objectives
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies through proactive communication and problem-solving
Ensure effective communication across cross-functional teams, facilitating transparency and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
Drive the adoption of Agile best practices and digital acumen within project teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Required Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Expertise in Agile metrics tracking and reporting tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Experience in backlog grooming and refinement
Ability to create detailed requirements and user stories
Project delivery management within digital environments
Competence in estimation techniques and metrics analysis
Preferred Skills:
Experience implementing Agile at scale (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
Proficiency in advanced project management tools and dashboards
Knowledge of digital transformation and emerging technologies
Familiarity with risk management frameworks in Agile projects
Ability to optimize team performance through coaching and mentoring
Strong communication management skills in project settings
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
Additional Agile or project management certifications such as PMI-ACP or SAFe Agilist are advantageous
