Your tasks
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Electrical Engineer to support the planning, design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems. The successful candidate will assist senior engineers in carrying out engineering projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with relevant technical standards.
- Assist senior electrical engineers with electrical system design, planning, and project implementation.
- Prepare and update electrical drawings, technical documents, and project reports.
- Assist in supervising electrical installation and maintenance works at project sites.
- Support the inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Identify electrical faults and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, technicians, and other project team members.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedules and specifications.
- Assist in preparing material lists, cost estimates, and technical submissions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable engineering standards.
- Maintain proper records of inspections, testing activities, and project documentation.
- Perform other engineering-related duties assigned by senior engineers or management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant working experience will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, wiring, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other electrical design software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Able to work independently and support project teams when required.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and electrical safety practices.
