Overview of the role

We are building a strong pool of talent for future workshop supervisor opportunities across the UAE.

As a workshop supervisor, you will lead a team of technical professionals and oversee day-to-day workshop operations. You will play a key role in driving productivity, operational efficiency, quality standards, and on-time vehicle delivery while creating a high-performing, customer-focused workshop environment.

What you will do

• Lead and manage daily workshop operations and effectively allocate workloads across the technical team.
• Drive technician productivity, utilization, efficiency, and overall workshop performance.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently maintained and promote a strong Fix It Right culture.
• Monitor work progress and ensure vehicles are completed and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Identify technical and operational concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and individual development plans.
• Manage workshop tools, equipment, consumables, and inventory effectively.
• Ensure warranty repairs are completed in line with established processes and requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and operational enhancement projects.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and workshop organization.

• Strong understanding of automotive dealership and workshop operations.
• Ability to manage productivity, utilization, quality, and operational KPIs.

• Good knowledge of workshop inventory management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to lead change and continuously improve workshop performance.

About the team

You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced automotive aftersales operation where teamwork, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are key priorities. You will collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth workshop performance and an excellent customer experience.

What equips you for the role

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant automotive technical certifications.
• At least 10 years of overall experience within automobile dealerships, including at least 5 years in a workshop management position.
• Strong knowledge of automotive workshop and aftersales processes.
• Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of performance KPIs, ERP systems, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
