Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, checking for repairs needed, and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and logs to track completed tasks and ensure consistent standards across all areas.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to promote environmentally friendly practices.
• Support additional facilities upkeep activities as directed by supervisors to keep the environment safe and functional.
• Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning projects efficiently and uphold quality standards.

Requirements

• Legally able to work in Canada as an independent contractor (SIN number will be required to qualify)
• Comfortable with graveyard shift work
• Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning environments preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance practices and basic maintenance skills.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and upkeep.
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting during shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to following health and safety regulations at all times.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 ? 40.0 per week
