Logistics Solutions Manager

Brief Description

The Logistics Solutions Manager leads logistics solution design, cost modeling, process improvement, and continuous improvement to enhance WICE Supply Chain Solutions’ competitiveness, profitability, and operational efficiency. Translates customer requirements and operational data into solutions, cost models, proposals, and presentations for RFQ/RFP, tenders, new business, and customer development; works with key cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Commercial Support

• Lead solutions for warehousing, transportation, distribution, VAS, and integrated logistics.
• Analyze RFQ/RFP requirements and data including volume, inventory, SKU, order profiles, and service requirements.
• Design layout, capacity, storage, process flow, manpower, MHE, productivity, systems, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate alternatives for feasibility, scalability, cost, profitability, service, and risk.
• Prepare proposals, business cases, and presentations; support tenders, customer meetings, and negotiations.

1. Cost Modeling & Financial Analysis

• Develop cost models and pricing covering manpower, space, MHE, transportation, IT/WMS, CAPEX/OPEX, overhead, and operating costs.
• Conduct profitability, ROI, payback, break-even, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.
• Coordinate with functions and vendors to validate costs and assumptions.
• Maintain costing models, benchmarks, and templates; review actual cost/profitability and recommend actions.

1. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Lead CI initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.
• Identify bottlenecks, waste, productivity gaps, quality issues, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen, 5S, PDCA, RCA, Time & Motion Study, and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
• Improve utilization of manpower, space, MHE, equipment, transportation, and systems.
• Evaluate automation, WMS/TMS, technology, and process redesign for feasibility and ROI.
• Establish productivity standards and measure improvements in cost, productivity, capacity, and service.

1. Project Implementation, Quality & ISO

• Support new projects from solution design through go-live and stabilization.
• Translate solutions into layout, resources, processes, SOP/WI, KPIs, system requirements, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate teams and monitor milestones, risks, and performance.
• Support QMS/ISO 9001, SOP/WI, audits, NC, RCA, CAPA, and continual improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer, company, Quality, Safety, ISO, and regulatory requirements.

1. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop the Solutions/Logistics Engineering team.
• Review team cost models, solution designs, proposals, and improvement projects.
• Develop standardized tools, benchmarks, and best practices.
• Work with customers/stakeholders on new business, service expansion, productivity, and cost optimization.
• Promote company core values and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related fields. 5-10 years of experience in logistics, 3PL, contract logistics, warehousing, transportation, manufacturing, supply chain solutions, or Industrial Engineering. Proven experience in Solution Design, Cost Modeling, Pricing, RFQ/RFP, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, or Project Implementation. Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, capacity planning, layout design, resource calculation, MHE, productivity, and logistics operations. Strong financial and commercial knowledge including P&L, Gross Margin, CAPEX/OPEX, ROI, Payback, and business case development. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Process Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, QMS, and ISO Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, AutoCAD, WMS/TMS, automation, or data analytics tools are advantages. Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer requirements, operational feasibility, and profitability. Leadership capability, self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities. Good command of written and spoken English.
