Qualifications University degree preferably in engineering and/or business Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken Minimum 6 years of experience from International business within Purchasing or Sales Volvo Penta Volvo Penta designs, develops, manufactures and markets marine and industrial power systems. Right now we want two Segment Managers to join our Global Purchasing Department to join our journey.

The Segment Manager is responsible for the business plan of a segment family, setting global targets, driving strategies and is responsible for the Cost development of the segment family, consisting of several commodities. To achieve this, we are looking for candidates that enjoy leading teams, developing people and driving development. Responsibilities The Segment Manager shall create, lead and drive Segment strategies to align commodities in order to maximize the deliverables in the segment. The Segment Manager will functionally lead a team of buyers in a global environment, to secure the development of Commodity strategies and Cost fulfilment. The Segment Manager will in addition manage a commodity portfolio.
