Business Development and Events Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and client accounts Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to build VM Consult's brand and market presence Plan and deliver corporate events, strategic convenings, and client-facing engagements end-to-end Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and strategic partners Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and logistics for all programs and events Track business development pipeline, marketing performance, and event outcomes, reporting regularly to leadership Represent VM Consult at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings Liaise with the wider GOLDCard Group on shared branding, resources, and cross- company opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 4–6 years of experience in business development, marketing, or event management Strong track record of building client relationships and securing new business Hands-on experience planning and executing corporate events or strategic convenings Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills Creative, results-driven mindset with strong attention to brand and detail Proficiency in MS Office and marketing/CRM tools A Master’s degree in a related discipline will be an added advantage
