lunch supervisor
*We are seeking a skilled and reliable Paver & Retaining Wall Installer to join our construction team.* The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing paving stones and segmental retaining walls, with additional masonry experience considered a strong asset. This role involves building durable, high-quality outdoor structures while maintaining excellent workmanship and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install paving stones, slabs, and related materials for patios, walkways, driveways, and outdoor living spaces.
- Construct segmental and/or concrete retaining walls according to plans and specifications.
- Prepare sites, including excavation, base preparation, grading, and compaction.
- Mix and apply bedding materials, jointing sand, mortar, or concrete as required.
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and layout specifications.
- Cut and shape materials using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Ensure proper alignment, level, grade, and structural integrity of all work.
- Repair, rebuild, or restore existing paver, retaining wall, or masonry installations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site and follow all safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and other trades.
Qualifications
- Proven experience installing pavers and/or retaining walls.
- Masonry experience (brick, stone, block, or concrete work) is an asset.
- Ability to work from plans and follow detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or formal training is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
