Job Responsibilities
- Plan, design, coordinate and supervise civil engineering and construction works.
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project schedules, safety requirements and relevant regulations.
- Prepare project schedules, progress reports, technical submissions and site documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and other resources required for site activities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.
- Assist in quantity take-off, material planning and cost control.
- Attend project, technical and site coordination meetings.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and consultants when required.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing, approvals and completed works.
- Support testing, commissioning, handover and project completion activities.
- Perform other civil engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in construction or civil engineering projects preferred.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of site coordination, construction methods and project documentation.
- Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
