Cybersecurity Analyst

UNICOMP CJSC is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst.

Monitor events for attacks, intrusions, unauthorized or illegal activity,

Analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise,

Analyze anomalies in network traffic using metadata,

Identify applications and operating systems of a network device based on network traffic,

Monitor network traffic for security incidents and events,

Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of all source data sets,

Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities,

Conduct threat research,

Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders,

Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news,

Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field is required,

Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts,

Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies,

Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and directory services,

Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess risks, threats, patterns and trends,

Teamworking skills for collaborating with team members and clients,

Excellent attention to detail,

Written communication skills, for example to write technical reports,

Fluent in English.
