SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (M/F/D)

Job description

In your role in the Business Division Electronics in our production facility in Kaunas (Lithuania), your responsibilities will be to:

• Coordinate and monitor APQP activities with suppliers, ensuring completeness, compliance, timely execution, and implementation of corrective actions when deviations occur;
• Lead collaboration on APQP-related topics across project teams, suppliers, and internal quality specialists, leveraging the SQA and expert network to address critical issues and risks;
• Identify, assess, and escalate quality risks that cannot be resolved by suppliers or project teams, ensuring timely management intervention when required;
• Manage supplier quality assurance deliverables, including reference sample agreements, review and approval of initial sample inspection documentation (ISIR, EMPB, PSW), and preparation of incoming inspection plans;
• Conduct supplier audits, process approvals, and Full Run Tests to verify process capability and production readiness;
• Coordinate quality planning and sourcing readiness activities, including risk assessments, manufacturing feasibility reviews, and verification of approved supplier locations and processes;
• Track, maintain, and communicate the quality status of purchased parts, preparing APQP reports and presenting project status during reviews, customer visits, and audits;
• Maintain project documentation and quality records, ensuring accurate data management in relevant systems and monitoring APQP-related project expenditures.

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or related areas;
• Several years of experience in quality assurance and production engineering;
• Very good English skills;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage;
• Willingness to travel and ideally experience of working in international project teams;
• Purposeful and structured work approach;
• Teamwork skills, an affinity for technology, and communication skills;
• A highly committed and proactive attitude.
