This is a 1099 independent contractor position, ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and delivering exceptional quality. Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and volume of work Paid per garment or agreed-upon rate structure

Responsibilities, Requirements, and Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality alterations on custom garments, including suits, jackets, trousers, and shirts

Execute precise fittings and adjustments to ensure optimal garment fit and client satisfaction

Work independently to manage alteration requests in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain consistent quality standards and attention to detail across all garments

Communicate effectively regarding timelines, garment needs, and any alteration considerations

Requirements:

Must own and maintain all necessary sewing and tailoring equipment

Proven experience in alterations and tailoring, specifically with custom or high-end garments

Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

Reliable, professional, and responsive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with luxury or made-to-measure clothing

Ability to handle complex alterations and specialty fabrics
