Junior Technical Engineer – Construction

Job Purpose: Support the technical and engineering activities of construction projects, ensuring drawings, site activities, technical documentation, and project requirements are properly coordinated and executed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, update, and revise AutoCAD drawings based on project requirements.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Assist senior engineers in resolving technical and site-related issues.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other project teams.
- Support preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
- Conduct site visits and verify work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate required corrections.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documents.
- Support quantity take-offs and preparation of technical information when required.
- Ensure drawings and technical documents comply with project standards and requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related engineering discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in construction/technical engineering.
- Strong AutoCAD skills are required.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and site activities.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM or other engineering software is an advantage.
