Safety Coordinator
Assist WSH Manager to ensure worksite compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Environmental.
- Conduct daily EHS Inspection and rectify/correct any unsafe condition and unsafe practice immediately.
- Attend all safety meetings, Inspections and ensure that good working condition is maintained in the site.
- Conduct daily Toolbox meeting for Main Contractor’s Workers to brief about the safe work practices and house keeping.
- To monitor and ensure all workers & staff have attended relevant safety training Courses.
- Educate the workers about the Proper usage of PPE and ensure the compliance at the site.
- Check and maintain the documents of the Lifting equipments, electrical equipments Testing/calibration reports.
- Assist to investigate into all site incidents / accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure supervisors, workers and subcontractors follow safe work procedures and all safety compliances on site.
- Ensure all lifting gears, appliances, electrical equipment are inspected, and records are up to date.
- Assist the Safety Officer/Manager on the ISO audit document preparation.
- Prepare and submit safety report to WSH Manager.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirement:
- Possess a certificate in Safety Coordinator’s Course or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Building and Construction industry.
- Experience in structural steel work environment in Exxon Mobil will be an advantage.
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
- Able to work on short notice
