Shan You is a Social Service Agency founded in 1995, providing mental health and social care services to all community members regardless of race, religion, nationality, or ability to pay. It operates two centres offering counselling and social care services.

Your tasks

We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Accounting & Administrative Executive to support the organisation’s financial, administrative, and HR operations, ensuring accurate records, smooth processes, and compliance with governance requirements.

• Support accounting and administrative functions to maintain smooth daily operations
• Process invoicing, payments, expense tracking, and enter data accurately into accounting systems such as QuickBooks
• Maintain and update financial records, documentation, and reports in compliance with organisational and regulatory standards
• Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and audits as needed
• Manage end-to-end HR administration including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management
• Implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with employment regulations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate finance and administrative processes
• Handle confidential information with discretion and manage multiple tasks independently within limited hours
• Perform other duties as assigned to enhance organisational efficiency

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and HR practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in the non-profit or social service sector
