Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions in electrical engineering, covering essential topics such as electronics, power systems, and digital systems.
- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and laboratory exercises, ensuring they meet current industry standards.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and practical projects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
- Facilitate classroom discussions to enhance learning and stimulate critical thinking.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering and incorporate advanced technologies and methodologies into the curriculum.
- Provide academic advising and career guidance to students, assisting them in their professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a PhD is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineering Lecturer or in a similar educational role.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in electrical engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and motivating students.
