Accounting Manager

The Accounts Manager is responsible for leading and managing all the company’s accounting and financial operations. Lead and manage the accounting department, overseeing team performance and development.

Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

Oversee the General Ledger and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries.

Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare related reports.

Prepare periodic financial statements, analyze business results, and present findings to executive management.

Develop and update accounting policies and procedures in accordance with best practices.

Design and implement an effective internal control system to safeguard company assets.

Coordinate with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting teams to ensure operational quality.

Lead external audit activities and coordinate with external auditors.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

Strong experience in General Ledger, financial closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Experience with external audits and coordination with external auditors.

Strong knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Experience with ERP systems; e-commerce or retail accounting experience is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
