Genomics Research Assistant

Requirements:

• Final-year undergraduate student or recent graduate in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in human genetics, genomics, and scientific research.
• Able to read, interpret, and summarize peer-reviewed scientific publications.
• Basic understanding of genetic variants, genetics, and genomics.
• Familiarity with scientific literature databases and genetic variant resources is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for organizing and managing data.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and summarize peer-reviewed scientific literature related to human genetics and genomics.
• Curate and organize genetic variant information from scientific publications and public genomic databases.
• Assist in evaluating the strength and relevance of published genetic evidence for research activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of curated genetic information and supporting references.
• Support research projects through scientific data compilation, validation, and literature-based analysis.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of research documentation and knowledge resources.
