*Duties*

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and creativity, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to streamline kitchen operations.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Serve meals efficiently and courtefully to guests or team members, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and organizing ingredients.
• Follow recipes and portion controls accurately to minimize waste while maximizing flavor and presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold cleanliness standards and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and safely.

*Qualifications*

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation standards within the food industry.
• Hands-on experience with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines or menu types.
• Ability to serve efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and safety practices essential for a busy culinary setting.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly preferred; food safety certifications are a plus.
