The business has been established for over 20 years and it turning over circa £45million annually. The organisation is undergoing a period of significant change and investment. Finance is evolving from a primarily reporting-focused function into a proactive commercial partner to the business.
The culture is collaborative and social, with regular team events and plenty of interaction across the wider business. Description You will work with operational teams to understand performance, improve profitability and provide insight that genuinely influences business decisions.
This will include: Partnering with Client Services and senior stakeholders across the business. Supporting annual planning, budgeting and forecasting. Supporting commercial bids and modelling potential scenarios Working with Power BI and large datasets to turn information into useful insight Supporting the implementation and improvement of key business systems Profile A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have: Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or an exceptionally strong QBE candidate, with solid Finance Business Partnering experience) Experience in a FBP or commercial finance manager role (or FP & A with wider business engagement) You'll have experience working for a service led-business, with awareness of an intangible product. You'll need to be curious, bright, engaging and credible, with the confidence to challenge while remaining collaborative. Job Offer Annual salary up to 70k Hybrid working (2 days per week in South Manchester based office) 25 days holiday plus bank holiday and full closure over Christmas and New Year Private medical Regular team events
