We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. This role is vital in managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting to support our company?s growth and operational efficiency. *Responsibilities*

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.

• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience.
• Knowledge of Canadian GST/HST, payroll, and accounting regulations.
• Experience with QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience in transportation/trucking accounting is considered an asset.
• *CPA designation preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience.*
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

*Qualifications*

• *Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.*
• *Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Workday.*
• Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation, and payroll processes.
• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze accounts and support budgeting activities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
