Friday 2:00PM to 10:00PM, Satuday 6:00AM to 10:00PM, and Sunday 6:00AM to 2:00PM ( Monday thru Thursday Off )
Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Rover Security Officer to provide active patrol-based protection at a premier automotive headquarters facility in Plano, Texas. This is a high-visibility, dynamic role requiring professionalism, physical readiness, and sound judgment.
A Rover Security Officer provides mobile protection across large, expansive properties — on foot or by vehicle — monitoring for hazards, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to incidents. Rather than working a fixed post, this role focuses on active deterrence, safety inspections, and continuous patrol presence.
The site is a Headquarters location and will require the highest level of professionalism, customer service, technology skills, and high-quality candidates with excellent work ethics.
$50 Sign-On Bonus – Active Guard Card Already licensed? Associates who join with an active Guard Card on file will receive a $50 Sign-On Bonus , paid out upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
Active Patrolling — Conduct regular, randomized foot and vehicle patrols of facilities, fences, gates, and parking areas to detect safety hazards, property damage, or security breaches.
Access Control — Verify credentials and identify visitors, vendors, and employees at various entry points to prevent unauthorized access across the campus.
Incident Response — Respond immediately and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and reports of suspicious activity — escalating appropriately per site protocols.
Reporting — Write detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and maintenance/damage reports documenting security risks and observed conditions.
Customer Service — Provide professional assistance to employees and guests — offering directions, safety guidance, and general support as needed.
Compliance — Ensure adherence to all site-specific policies, safety regulations, and Marksman standard operating procedures at all times
Qualifications:
At least 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas
Previous dispatch experience required
Strong customer service skills
Familiarity with report writing
Monitoring and surveillance experience
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Previous security experience is required
Attentive to detail
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
