Full-Stack Developer
We are a US-based company with our development team based in Yerevan. We're looking for a strong full-stack developer to join our team on-site — someone who can both improve and optimize our existing applications and design and build new ones from the ground up.
You'll own features end to end: Laravel/PHP on the backend, Next.js on the frontend, and everything in between. We work with modern tools and expect you to be fluent using AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow — not as a novelty, but as a practical way to move faster while keeping code quality high.
This is an on-site position in Yerevan on a small, hands-on team where your work ships to production quickly and your decisions matter.
Build new full-stack applications with Laravel (PHP) backends and Next.js frontends
Improve, refactor, and optimize existing projects — performance, reliability, and maintainability
Design and consume REST APIs and integrate third-party services
Work within a Dockerized environment (Docker Compose, multi-container setups)
Write clean, tested, well-structured code and take part in code reviews
Debug issues across the full stack — from the database up to the browser
Use AI coding tools effectively to accelerate development without sacrificing quality
Collaborate with the team on architecture, deployments, and technical direction
2+ years of professional full-stack development experience
Strong PHP / Laravel — Eloquent, queues, migrations, service architecture, testing
Strong Next.js / React — modern React patterns, hooks, SSR/SSG, API routes
Solid JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals
Comfortable with relational databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL) — schema design and query optimization
Hands-on experience building or working with Docker containers
Practical experience coding with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar), and good judgment about where they help versus where human review is required
Version control with Git
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and ship reliably
Nice to Have
Experience with Redis, queue workers, and job scheduling
Familiarity with Nginx, reverse proxies, and web server configuration
Experience with Cloudflare and CDN/DNS management
Transactional / bulk email systems (Mailgun or similar) and deliverability basics
Experience optimizing legacy or inherited codebases
Exposure to Inertia.js, Vue.js, or Livewire
Multi-language / localization experience
What We're Looking For (Beyond the Checklist)
Ownership — you see a problem through to production, not just to “it works on my machine”
Pragmatism — you pick the right tool for the job and don't over-engineer
Communication — you can explain technical trade-offs clearly to teammates
Reliability — you write code that holds up under real production load
Curiosity — you keep up with the ecosystem and improve how you work
