Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist for its client based in Nottingham. Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team in a senior capacity. This is a high-impact role focused on supporting disabled individuals and their families/carers through expert assessments, equipment provision, and major adaptations.

What will your responsibilities be?

Deliver Occupational Therapy services to disabled citizens, including complex assessments, equipment recommendations, and housing adaptations.

Apply strong knowledge of the Care Act and related legislation across health and social care, safeguarding, and housing.

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of up to 8 staff (OTs, Social Workers, Community Care Officers), ensuring professional governance and high service performance.

Mentor and support colleagues through quality assurance, guidance, and collaborative problem-solving.

Provide expert input on cases where safety is impacted by equipment or adaptation needs, supporting less experienced practitioners.

Actively contribute to service development and innovation, driving best practice in social care.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration

Extensive post-qualifying experience in adult social care

Proven leadership and supervision experience

Strong understanding of legislation and best practice in OT

Relevant Occupational Therapy and associated certificates
