Computer Technician

We are looking to hire a competent and professional Computer Technician to join our team for conducting routine inspections and maintenance on laptops.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for purchasing used laptops, negotiating with suppliers, and evaluating used devices offered for sale.
• Conducting thorough, comprehensive, and initial inspections of used devices prior to final purchase to ensure their technical condition and absence of hidden defects or damages.
• Diagnosing and repairing hardware and software faults on various laptops efficiently.
• Installing spare parts and replacing damaged components such as screens, batteries, keyboards, RAM, and hard drives.
• Installing operating systems, essential software, and device drivers.
• Providing technical support and resolving technical issues for users or customers.

• Education: Intermediate or higher qualification, preferably graduates of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in computer and laptop maintenance, with a preference for candidates experienced in evaluating and inspecting used devices.
• Essential Skills:
• Strong knowledge of internal laptop hardware components and inspection methods.
• Excellent negotiation and pricing evaluation skills for used equipment and devices.
• Ability to accurately detect motherboard and electronic component faults.
• Good communication skills to deal professionally with suppliers and customers.
• Accuracy and attention to detail during device inspection to ensure procurement quality.
