Work Location: Hybrid Model / Kent, WA Office (3 days a week - Relocation required)

The Salesforce Marketing & Sales Cloud Administrator is the system owner responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the company’s Salesforce ecosystem.

This role plays a critical part in scaling marketing and communication efforts by owning Salesforce Administration across Sales and Marketing Cloud for Marketing, M&A, and Recruiting teams including but not limited to overseeing vendor partners, user management, platform utilization and support, governance, reporting, campaign execution and marketing automation, hands-on development of email campaigns and automated customer journeys within Marketing Cloud.

Supporting a multi-location network of 85+ brands, this role ensures systems are reliable, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business goals including lead generation, conversion, retention, and customer experience.

This position partners closely with Marketing, Operations, IT, Analytics, Recruiting, and M&A teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Platform Ownership & Administration

Serve as the primary administrator for Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud

Configure and maintain system settings, permissions, user roles, and security controls

Manage user onboarding, training, and ongoing support

Ensure system performance, stability, and scalability

Support system implementation plus ongoing system enhancements and post-implementation optimization

Campaign Execution, Email Marketing & Journey Automation

Own the end-to-end development and deployment of marketing campaigns within Marketing Cloud

Assist with building, QA, and launch email marketing campaigns including segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization

Train and support Digital Marketing Team and Field Marketers with email marketing campaign launches including segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization

Design, build, and optimize automated customer journeys in Journey Builder, including:

Trigger-based and behavioral journeys

Lifecycle marketing (onboarding, retention, re-engagement)

Lead nurture programs

Implement audience segmentation and targeting strategies using data extensions and CRM data

Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, performance analysis, and continuous iteration (subject lines, content, timing, targeting)

Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives

Data Management, Integrations & Governance

Maintain data quality, structure, and hygiene across platforms

Manage data imports, synchronization, deduplication, and segmentation

Ensure accurate data mapping between Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and integrated systems

Manage integrations with third-party tools and internal platforms

Establish and maintain data governance standards and documentation

Reporting, Analytics & Optimization

Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track:

Campaign performance and engagement

Lead flow and pipeline contribution

Conversion and attribution insights

Translate data into actionable insights for marketing and leadership teams

Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, personalization, and automation

Compliance, Privacy & Best Practices

Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR where applicable)

Manage consent, preference centers, suppression lists, and unsubscribe processes

Monitor email deliverability, sender reputation, and engagement health

Stay current on Salesforce releases and marketing automation best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support

Act as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT, and external vendors

Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis

Support vendor coordination, integrations, and platform enhancements

Document processes, workflows, and system configurations

Qualifications & Experience

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of hands-on experience administering Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud

Proven experience building and deploying email campaigns and automated journeys

Strong experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio (or comparable tools)

Experience with audience segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing

Strong understanding of CRM data structures, lead management, and marketing automation

Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Email Specialist)

Experience in multi-location or high-volume campaign environments

Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data synchronization

Experience with attribution tools, call tracking, or CDPs

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions

Highly detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and campaign precision

Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting performance data

Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

Proactive problem solver with strong troubleshooting ability

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ownership mentality with a focus on scalability and continuous improvement

Compensation range: $90,000 - $100,000.

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible to participate in Lakefield’s annual incentive bonus program, subject to eligibility and plan terms.
