Sr Engineer, R&D Software Engineering (f/m/d)

Accountabilities: As a Sr Engineer, R&D Software Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications while contributing to technical innovation and engineering excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business and user needs.

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using technologies such as Angular, React, .NET, and modern database systems.

Design, build, and enhance solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven applications) and Dataverse.

Integrate Power Platform solutions with custom .NET services, APIs, and enterprise data sources.

Design and implement database structures, queries, and stored procedures using SQL Server and Entity Framework.

Ensure application scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability through strong engineering practices.

Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.

Participate in agile development practices, including code reviews, team discussions, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Troubleshoot defects, optimize existing solutions, and contribute to application enhancements.

Mentor junior developers by sharing technical knowledge, reviewing code, and promoting best practices.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and solutions.

Support automation, integration, and modernization initiatives across software platforms.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack developer with strong expertise in web technologies, Microsoft platforms, and enterprise application development.

5+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, and C#.

Proficiency with Angular or React for modern web application development.

Practical experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps and Dataverse.

Experience with Entity Framework and ORM-based data access approaches.

Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL development, schema design, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Ability to design scalable applications and solve complex technical challenges.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in agile software development environments.

Nice-to-have experience with logistics applications, including Order Management Systems (OMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Familiarity with the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Automate, Power BI, and custom connectors.

Experience with Azure services, integration patterns, Node.js, PowerShell scripting, automation tools, Docker, or CI/CD environments is a plus.
